We are using the book, 50 Essays by Samuel Cohen, Ive chosen the Shooting an Elephant reading to do a textual analysis, or assertion, which can agree or disagree with the authors theme but must do more than summarize. Personally, i believe shooting elephants is wrong, especially for sport, but in his story it seems it had to be done in this case.
