take and defend a position in the paper using sound ethical reasoning and examples from the course readings.  Each position paper will be 500-750 words in length.  References outside the textbook may be used (and if they are used, they MUST be cited in APA format) but are not required.  Examples and guidelines will be supplied for writing these position papers, and a rubric will be used in evaluating them
