Assignment 18 – Delays

In determining the consequences of events that delay performance, contract clauses deal with the time and cost effect of delays separately:
A.    The Default Clause deals with events that protect the contractor for late performance.
B.    The Suspension of Work, Government Delay of Work, and the Stop Work Order are examples of clauses that permit or deny recovery of costs associated with the delays.
