In addition to discussing the three different types of technology, also discuss how these technologies help to create a safer practice environment. Also discuss any ethical or legal issues related to these technologies. This technology may range from something that directly affects the patient or something that is used by the healthcare professional. Examples of technologies could be something large like Electronic Medical Records or the Patient Portal or something smaller like an insulin pump or calorie counting application for your phone.
