Using the Classical four-part organizational format of (1) introduction, (2) statement of fact/argument, (3) counter arguments and rebuttal, (4) conclusion and call to action, in groups of 2-3 prepare and present a 5-10 minute persuasive speech. You must write the speech out. In the written speech identify by underlining and labeling a minimum of one each of the following rhetorical and literary devices:

    a.    literary allusion
    b.    parallelism
    c.    repetition
    d.    appeal to ethics (ethos)
    e.    appeal to reason (logos)
    f.    appeal to emotion (pathos)
    g.    metaphor/extended metaphor
    h.    rhetorical question (either answered by the speaker or left unanswered)

For the speech, you must use a minimum of 1 source, identified in a bibliography in correct MLA format at the end of the paper. Use one of the online sources for correct MLA documentation such as esybib.com. 

Prepare a 5-8 minute rebuttal to Patrick Henrys Speech. (for this option use at least one source from a British website.)
