the kind of mindset early childhood teachers should have as it relates to guiding behavior
the type of classroom environment or social climate that should be established
the various guidance techniques that should be implemented to support a diverse classroom of learning abilities, cultural, and linguistic differences
the value of a partnership between parents and teachers

Focusing on these major components should be enough to get you started on this process. There will be no limit on how long your philosophy should be as it should come from the heart and be as thorough as your ideas and your passion will allow.

For the final exam, you will submit a personal philosophy of guidance as it relates to early care and education that responds to practices supporting inclusion as well as cultural and linguistic diversity through actions and attitudes. In other words, you will need to be able to articulate and communicate your personal beliefs about what guidance should look like in the early childhood classroom, the encouraging early childhood classroom.
