I.  Three Prep Assignments.    [30 pts total]
Preliminary Topic  – Topic statement due in class three weeks before presentation date. [5 pts]
Plan – Revised topic statement, at least two images with full caption information,  and a SPECIFIC research plan (identified sources, questions, and procedures) due online two weeks before presentation date.  [15 pts] 
Group Feedback – specific questions, responses, and research recommendations due online one week before presentation. [10 pts] 

  II.  Voicethread Presentation  5-10 slides, 5-7 minutes plus questions.  [50 pts]
  You are expected to know your subject thoroughly enough to explain it orally to your classmates

  Images must be clear and high quality, undistorted, and complete. Slides may include more than one image.  Detail images must be identified as such, and the complete work from which they are taken must be represented via a link or small image for reference.  Graded on interest of the topic,  authority of information, coherence of presentation, timing, and slide quality.   
 

  III.  Process Writeup    3-5 pages PLUS image list and source list.  [50 pts]
NOTE This is NOT a written version of your presentation.  Think of it more like a lab report:  It should give a brief SUMMARY of your presentation, but mostly be devoted to a description of your PROCESS, including:
your reasons for pursuing the topic,
specific decisions and/or  challenges  you encountered in the course of researching your subject
Decisions you had to make in preparing your presentation – the sequence of slides, the timing, etc.
A reflection on what you have gained or learned from the work you have done, including the presentation itself. 
    Appended to your writeup must be
a fully identified  list of the images in your presentation, with thumbnails  (not included in page count)
a fully documented source list. (not included in page count)
Due 11:59 pm on presentation date

* this is a guideline based on the alloted time.  If you present a montage of images, or even a little film, you may be able to use more than ten.
