Convince a climate skeptic that climate change is real, rapid, happening now, and important to address.  A compelling essay would get a skeptic to do some action, what one significant action would you encourage them to do and how would that action result in any sort of climate change mitigation?

In your essay explain the greenhouse effect, the greenhouse gases (GHG), the effect of GHG on climate now and in the past, projections of future climate, and the effects that we are seeing now and are likely to see by 2100 – if we don’t act in significant ways.  Your essay is a call to action:  what action do you want to see?  why?
